Great product
Bought this spring compressor and have used them flawlessly for a decade. Used them on everything from a Ford Focus to lift springs for a jeep Cherokee and many midsize trucks. They get the job done if you know what you're doing.

Strut Compressor
I really enjoyed using this strut compressor. Yes it is manual but, you can use a socket or your 1/2" drive ratchet and extensions to tighten and loosen which is very convenient. The pair have a small form factor so, they are easy to maneuver into your choice of position around the coil spring. Great price too.

NEVER BUY THIS HEAP OF JUNK
cheap and doesn't do the job.

They work.
Worked as designed. Have both the hex head and they directly fit a 1/2" impact wrench or extension inside the hex head. Very convenient for tight spaces when an impact socket won't fit, but you can sneak an extension into place.
Worked great! But...was a mess to take back off
These definately compressed the springs enough to allow me to get my new lower and upper control arms changed and installed. While I had the springs off I compressed the spring to be shorter than length of shock to allow it to go into control arm hole and get attached. Great. Now after I mounted everything it was near impossible to get the compressor backed out because everything newly installed was in the way. I ended up cutting one of the bolts because I had no access to loosen the nut. Now I gotta buy the new bolt or a new set of compressors if I have this project again. I'm sure a professional could have guided me in a. better way.
