Tool did what I bought it for.

I used this to pull a rusted right rear wheel axle or hub seal from a 2018 f150. The bearing was so corroded that the tool initially just kept tearing through the steel outer lip used to pull the seal out. Eventually the tool got enough grip to create a small gap between the seal and the bearing that I was able to place the tool edge in that gap, where the steel was not corroded, and pull the seal out. The only reason I rated it a 4 and not a 5 is they could improve the tool IMO by making it less sharp on the edges that pull against the lip. That way it would not tear the soft medal as easily, especially on northern vehicles which are often corroded on that outside lip.

Only worked after modification

Used this tool on a Ford 8" and had to cut off one of the ends for it to properly fit and pull out the seals. Even then it bent out of shape. Did job but basicslly a one-time use tool. I recommend a proper axle seal puller with a slide hammer.

Does what it should

Had a 13 year old axle seal that needed to be replaced when I replaced the CV axle. No amount of swearing, screw-drivering, brake-spooning would get the thing to budge. Fought with it over an hour. Tried to pull it apart piece by piece. Gave up and bought the tool. Seal was out in 30 seconds. Amazing how things work when you have the right tool.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
