Why not? For the price!
Does what it's designed to do, and for the price I don't really expect it to last forever, but it may! I'll happily replace as necessary seeing as the savings I'll get from doing my brakes myself, instead of sending it out to a shop.

Not for Volkswagon!!!!
This came up as a match for a 2007 VW Rabbit (MK5). Will never ever be able to compress the piston with this tool. VW requires spinning the pistion while pushing it in, impossible with this took. I used the loaner tool, certainly the right tool for the job. I kept it and was able to use it on a 2005 Kia Spectra, not problem retracting those tiny parts. It has a plastic handle, good thing is that it is a 17mm bolt under it, so if it breaks, the tool becomes a better one by incorporating the 17mm wrench or ratchet.

PLASTIC TURN KNOB BROKE
The black plastic knob broke immediately once it got harder to turn. The caliper piston didnt even collapse far enough. Poor quality. I used a 17mm socket to help turn the bolt.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Simple tool that does its job
cheap tool, does its job, I can imagine that if the pistons are stuck this tool is not the right one I had to put a piece of wood between the piston and the tool
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Good simple tool
Easy to use, turned the usual ordeal of compressing brake piston with a C-clamp into a 30 second job
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Waste of money
The metal bracket bent in while I was turning the plastic knob, then the plastic knob broke. Didn't even compress the cylinder and now it's broken. Advice: purchase a C-clamp and use an old brake pad to squeeze in cylinder.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
