CRC GDI IVD Intake Valve and Turbo Cleaner

This cleaner works very well to clean the intake valves on my 2018 Hyundai Sonata with the 2.4L GDI engine at 23,700 miles. The process did take about 20 minutes to consistently spray in short bursts. I decided to spray into the throttle body instead of a vacuum hose to make sure the cleaner spreads evenly into the intake manifold while having another person hold the RPMs around 2200. I then followed the instructions to rev the engine 2-3 times, but not exceed 3500 RPMs, then let the engine soak for about 1 hour. From my initial impressions, I can say that the throttle response is much better from accelerating at a standstill, as well as when rolling. In addition, after sitting for 1 hour, I took the Sonata for a 10 minute drive on the Highway and did notice some engine noise, like something is 'loose' or 'clanking' in the engine, likely the gunk buildup being pushed out of the engine, then after about 15 seconds or so of accelerating the engine to highway speed, the noise went away and drove like normal. Soon after, I went ahead and filled up on gas and found that the estimated miles to empty has increased approximately 23 more miles, meaning a potential increase of 1 more MPG. Before running the cleaner, I noticed that the Sonata got around 23 MPG in the City and 32 on the Highway at 80 MPH. I have yet to test the MPG on the Highway after performing the cleaner, however, the Sonata is now showing the MPG averaging 27 MPG in the city, which is about a 4 MPG increase with the cleaner. This would now exceed the estimated MPG at 25 MPG in the city with a bonus of 2 more MPG. After running this cleaner for the first time in 20,000 miles, or I would likely perform this cleaner again every 10,000 miles. I would highly recommend this cleaner for any Direct and Non-Port Injection vehicle.

Gave 3 stars because there's no way of telling if it truly works and its kind of hard to use depending on your vehicle. The website and test results show this products works so I hope it does. Use every 10k miles of you have a direct injection engine
