Extra long 25" flex hose gauge assembly with quick coupler, allows easy viewing out of cluttered engine compartment. 2-1/2" gauge features chrome bezel and rugged protective outer boot. Dual scale gauge reads 0-300 psi and 0-2100 kPa Complete with standard and specialty adapters, this deluxe kit offers a complete package for compression testing on gasoline engines. Kit includes the deep well connector used on recessed plug well style heads and the new Ford Triton engine adapter using 16mm thread plugs. Also includes 12" flex-14mm standard reach, 12" flex-14mm long reach, 10mm, 12mm and 18mm thread adapters and a repair parts kit packaged in a rugged blow-molded hard case with removable lid.

THIS KIT WILL CONFIRM YOUR CYLINDER COMPRESSION AND BY COMPARING THE PRESSURE OF EACH CYLNDER YOU CAN RULE OUT A COMPRESSION PROBLEM OR DETECT BLOWN HEAD GASKETS OR BAD PISTON RINGS.THIS KIT HAS MULTIPLE ADAPTERS THAT WILL FIT MOST VEHICLES, IT INCLUDES AN EXTENSION TUBE SO THAT YOU CAN POSITION THE GAUGE FOR EASY VIEWING. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE ALL SPARK PLUGS AND THEN TEST EACH CYLINDER. IF YOU DETECT LOW COMPRESSION YOU CAN SPRAY SOME LIGHT MOTOR OIL INTO THE CYLINDER, RETEST THE COMPRESSION,IF COMPRESSION IMPROVES YOU PROBABLY HAVE BAD PISTON RINGS. IF THE COMPRESSION DOESN'T IMPROVE YOU MAY HAVE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET.KIT ALSO INCLUDES REPLACEMENT PARTS
