Like another reviewer said, the picture is not the battery you are looking at. Advance really needs to change the image for this listing, it has been like this way too long. This is the dual terminal version of this battery, I purchased for my 2004 Ford F150. This is only the third battery for my truck, and I have sold the one it is replacing since there was nothing wrong with it. I bought this because I have a heavy electrical load that I often leave on. This battery easily handles not only the normal starting load of the starter, but my amps, CB (yes I still have one), extra interior and exterior lighting, and anything else I might have plugged in. I noticed a difference as soon as I hit the button on my alarm key fob. Brighter LED lights, louder alarm siren, and a stronger overall startup. The side terminals are for starting ONLY, do not run anything else off of them. The top posts (with added terminals) are perfect for all the extra power and ground wires my truck is using. Don't forget to protect your terminal with some dielectric spray or grease, I prefer the spray, and you will be very happy with this battery. If I had to complain I would say for what these cost they could include some side terminals, and a list of what adaptor pieces (included) are used for which vehicles. This would eliminate the "test fitting" if you knew what to attach ahead of time, the included information is limited at best. That's it! Buy one and power all your stuff!

I love optima batteries and I have 2 red tops in my ram 2500 that are over 8 years old! I purchased a yellow top and it lost a cell at 30 months. When i took it to store 9186 in daytona they refunded me the purchase price of the battery and then wanted to charge me retail price for the replacemnet, it was a $90 difference. Anna the manager said there was nothing she could do and blane the other store manager was the only person who could make the price adjustment, but he will not answer his phone......after a an hour in the store a left with a refund and no battery ( the warranty states free replacement, not refund) 1 hour on the phone and they finally agreed to sell me the battery at the price they refunded me. Why does optima deal with this inept retailer, and why do they have the worst customer service I have ever received from a retailer? save yourself the headache, and explore other options.
