My turn signals quit working but my flashers still worked. I assumed that I needed to replace the switch assembly. After a little research many people were citing this relay so I bought it and it worked perfectly. If you are having trouble locating where it goes, turn on your flashers and follow the clicking sound. Mine was between the door and my left knee. Should take about 15 min.

Worked great took seconds to locate flasher relay and replace. Fixed the hyper flashing problem I had after a led bulb upgrade, and no flashing when parking lights were on!

My '99 Dakota was having intermittant turn signal issues. After researching the issue on-line, it seemed to be a failing flasher. I replaced the original flasher with this and everything is working perfectly now.

            • Q:

2003 Ford Mustang GT: I replaced the rear harness with the raxiom sequential turn signal harness. After that I replaced the bulbs with sylvania 3157 LEDs. The sequential pattern for the hazard lights work perfectly, but the turn signals flash way too fast and only 2/3 lights work. Will this product fix that issue? Thanks.

                A:

Yes, Chris, this Novita LED Compatible Electronic Flasher (Part No. EP27) should fix this problem. However, I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

                A:

Hi Nunya, glad to assist you! I would assume the flasher relay would be located in the cabin; they are normally not located under the hood. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

Happy to assist with your question Greg! A diagram is not available, if you click on the second picture there are the pins with labels. The pin labeled H will be the power/hot wire. You can use a multimetre and test across the pins for continuity to identify circuit positions.

Sorry, I would not be able to tell you. Your owner's manual should list the fuse and relay locations for your vehicle. I would assume the flasher relay would be in the cabin; they are normally not located under the hood.

Hi Walid, glad to assist you! The relay is in the flasher unit, its a multifunction relay but it does the same thing as a flasher unit, it controls both flashers and turn signals. Look under the steering column at the fuse block and that is where it is.
