noticeable smoother running
surprised that the originals were also ngk, easy to install. came pregapped but i checked the gap anyway. be careful when checking iridium tips. had a little over 60k and originals were in pretty good shape but dealer was going to replace them anywayat 60k service and i saved price on plugs and labor. did notice smoother idling and engine running. Yeah I did.

Be very carefull when you install these plugs
These NGK plugs are original OEM for my Acura which has an aluminum engine block. I installed new NGK plugs at 97k without putting anti-seize compound on the threads. This is how NGK instructs you to install their plugs because there is plating on the threads that breaks loose and makes removing them much easier. NGK tells you not to use anti-seize because it makes the plug go into the block much smoother which confuses the really dumb mechanics so then they over tighten and break the plugs. Also, NGK doesn't want the gobs of anti-seize compound that the dumb mechanic puts all over the threads to ooze onto the firing tip of the plug. If you follow the instructions from NGK when dealing with an aluminum block, then you are doomed to spend 2-3 days with a can of penetrating oil, trying to remove their plugs after 60k. ALL MY PLUGS WERE FROZEN IN THE ALUMINUM ENGINE BLOCK. My advice to you is to learn how to properly apply anti-seize to the threads on the spark plug. And finally, NGK will tell you to warm up an aluminum engine block to make removing their plugs easier. This is a bad idea unless you want the block threads to come out with the plugs which will force you to buy new cylinder heads. Other than that, I have no problems with the spark plug itself.
