Installed this myself on my 2001 Nissan Sentra SE 2.0. The set does not come with anti-seize grease so better buy your own, it is worth the money. Installed it very easy, on a perfectly cold engine, tightened it by hand and then additional quarter turn. Immediately I noticed better cold start, engine purring, more power in high revs. Motor became more responsive and less sluggish.
Used Denso on another vehicle, but this time I went for NGK because this type has iridium core, and Denso has copper. NGK is better priced too.

Hi Wilski, glad to assist you! This NGK Iridium Ix Spark Plug (BKR5EIX-11) - Part No. 5464 is pre-gapped at 0.044"-inch from the factory. However, the fact remains that the gap must be adjusted for the vehicle that the spark plug is intended for.

Iam trying to rectify the spark plug ang COIL misfire problem that my 2004 ford thunderbird has. Will these plugs correct the problem and improve performance? Also, what coils do you recommend that I use to replace the current OE ones in my vehicle? Thanks
Asked on 5/16/2016 by MR G. from Florida

        1 answer

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Hi MR G, I'm happy to help you! This NGK Iridium Ix Spark Plug (BKR5EIX-11) - Part No. 5464 is an exact fit for your 2004 Ford Thunderbird. This spark plug feature an ultra-fine center electrode that's designed just thick enough to ensure the maximum durability and life of the spark plug, and just thin enough to create an accurate and consistent spark. They represent the ultimate evolution of spark plug technology and performance. Iridium is significantly stronger than any metal used in spark plugs today. It's the hardest metal used (in fact, iridium is 6 times harder than platinum), which has allowed NGK engineers to reduce the voltage requirement for a spark.
