Staff Reviewer -
I used this to replace the left (driver's side) axle seal with a new one in my 1999 Buick Regal LS with a 4T65E transmission. My old seal wasn't leaking, but the age of the car suggested that it was time to replace it while putting in a new CV axle. To remove the seal, I used a screwdriver at an angle to knock the edge in, as I'd seen in a youtube video. I then tried using needle-nose pliers to remove it, but ended up having to indent the old one in about 15% of the circumference before it was loose enough to pull out. The new seal went on very easily by using a large (36+MM socket) to hammer it back in.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
