I've never had a problem with an AC filter. Since the filter is on the top of the engine, it is easier to replace than oil filters located on the bottom of the engine.

fits the 2011 Malibu, no seal included
As a filter cartridge, this is lightweight and takes up less space in a landfill. The Purolator equivalent is better, it comes with a replacement seal for the cap.
I own over 2000 automotive hand tools including 5 different oil filter wrenches. None fits the cap for this oil filter (studpid GM!) I had to use a small handle channel lock wrench to remove the cap

Just like from the dealership
This was a nice OEM part for my 2005 Cavalier. I found that you get good performance out of it. But it is not as well as the K&N oil filter. but to consider that this was the only one that they had in stock in my area, it was not a bad deal for the quality and price.
