Excellent Product
Quality product, engine purrs with these new wires, cannot beat them especially for the price. However, if you do not know how to cut and trim ignition wires this set is not for you. I used my coax cable cutter and got perfect cut and trim. Excellent crimp tool, terminal ends and boots come with this set.

This product was easy to install, came with several options in terms of end fittings, and even has a nifty crimping tool. In my opinion the best bang for your buck wire set around.

Wire sets are not in stock for 40 year old cars at most stores, so these are good wires if you don't mind cutting them to length and fabricating the distributor ends. Cutting the cable without damaging the conductive inner cable takes a bit of practice, the supplied guide tool does not really work for that. Use razor blade to partially cut a circle through the insulation, 90% of the way through to the center, then twist and pull insulation off, leaving 1/2 inch of conductor showing with no cut in it. The crimping tool works with the vice once you get the handle of it. Make sure you put the distributor boot on BEFORE you crimp the conductore wire to the copper fitting, and using grease on the wire is a MUST otherwise you won't be able to slide the boot correctly. Two pair of pliers to bend the copper conductor to a 90 degree angle before popping the boot end in. Suggest buying wire guide clamps make sure they're for this thicker wire.

Great kit
Good heavy duty wire set.Takes a while to install and be sure not to get into a hurry while doing it.The kit comes with extra terminals so if you take a second to learn you have a chance to redeem yourself. The crimper works really well for the terminals and helping strip the wire.Be sure on the Hei/male ends that you stick the actual plug out of the end of the crimper, the female/socket style will fit in it.Just not Male ends. They are a good heavy wire and i think they will work well for any needs.I got these after autolites kept breaking and eventually the coil caught on fire and almost burned the truck down.Didnt help i was running a MSD Streetfire box and blaster 3 coil. These should hold these 35000+ volts the box puts out. So if you are capable of being patient and can use a razor get these. Also be sure you have a good bench vise for the crimper. You may be able use a large pair of pliers but a vise is reccomended. Also the wires are extra long,i clipped off a foot or more to go from my front cylinders to the distributor on the back and had plenty of extra slack.
