I purchased the MSD Performance coil to upgrade the original factory coil. It was a perfect fit for my 1993 F-150 SVT Lightning! I immediately noticed a smoother idle,more responsive acceleration and an increase in gas mileage as well! 100% satisfied!

Lasted approximately 5 months. BEWARE!!!
I installed this coil on my 1993 F-150 4.9l pickup truck. I upgraded the distibutor cap, button, wires, and plugs at the same time. No magic increase in fuel consumption, power, or much else. There may have been a slight improvement in idle, but that could have been my wishful thinking.
Everything was fine for about 5 months, when without warning, while attempting to cross a busy intersection my truck began to stumble, stall, and barely drug itself out of the intersection. How embarrassing. Because of my experience, I would not in good faith recommend this item.
