Motorcraft Fuel Filter
Staff Reviewer -
The main reason one would purchase this is to replace your fuel filters in a Ford Powerstroke Diesel with the 6.0L engine!
You have two filters, one will be underneath the drivers door on the frame rail and the smaller filter will go up in the engine compartment near the oil filter housing.
The filters pretty straight forward, just unscrew both caps on the filter housings and pull out the old filters and replace them with the new ones and don't forget to use the new o-rings supplied with them.
Make sure to drain the water in fuel plug first before opening up the filter so you can get rid of some of the fuel in the housing on the rail so you don't get soaked with diesel when taking it out.
These filters are the best to use since they are Motorcraft and they are the best at protecting against water since they have the extra protection around the pleats.

Stick with OEM
The Motorcraft filter is surprisingly better for filtration and performance than ANY other filter I have tested.
Ford recommends changing the filter every 25,000mi however, with our current fuel, I suggest changing the filter every 6months or 15,000miles... whichever comes first.

I like to use only Motorcraft products if I can find them for any replacement parts I may need. Advance not only had the parts I needed from Motorcraft, but at a great price as well.
