Worked well on my motorcycle!
I used this particular clay bar on my newley purchased 2008 Honda Shadow Aero 750. It had a neglected paint finish. The paint felt rough to the touch and was full of surface contaminants. This clay bar removed all the surface contamination from the gas tank and fenders and restored the paint finish to a very smooth surface. I then applied two coats of carnuba wax and the bike looked like brand new.

Didn't seem to do much more than a good clean and wax
I was cleaning a vette which is 37 years old and has the original paint. The car had been gathering dust for 14 of those years. Prior to using the clay bar I washed the car and then also waxed it as I have found wax applied properly can often take off a lot of grime. Then I clay barred some sections. It took off very little additional material and the paint looked no better than before. I think it does very little which couldn't be done with a little extra elbow grease.

I was looking for a product to remove some light scratches to the clear coat on my motorcycle gas tank. After further review I determined that this was more than I needed. This product would require me to use on the entire tank and polish/buff later with an orbital polisher. I wanted something I could use locally not the whole tank. YouTube videos showed how well the product works but I never found out for myself.

Would this clay bar help with getting rid of heavy oxidation from the paint? I can chip the oxidation off with my fingernail but something tells me that's not the proper way to do it.
