Fixes Steering Looseness
Staff Reviewer -
You will need an inner tie rod tool to loosen and tighten the rod. Suggest buying Moog bellows which are more pliable than OEM - they do not require a keystone clamps - zip ties do the job.
Harbor freight has an inner tie rod tool that does the job for $40. Be sure to clean the rack/tie rod threaded hole, and use the thread locking liquid (supplied with inner tie rod)
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Buy Moog, not knock off.

These Moog tie rod ends were just the ticket to fix the Focus steering issues. I ordered some AC Delco ones from Rock auto and they sent me two different ends! Completely obvious as soon as I grabbed each box, you could tell just by the weight. Got online to Advance, and they had both my parts ready in minutes, and they were identical! I'm sure even if the Delco ones would have been the same I still wouldn't be as happy as I am with these Moog ones.
