Stopped the "thump, thump" noise!
This is the second time I replaced these bushings since the van was new in 2006. Last set (blue ones without the plastic bushings) lasted about two years. So I figured would give these a try. A bit harder to install as it makes things a lot tighter especially getting the nut started back on but may be worth the extra effort? So far no more annoying "thump, thump" noise going over even the tiniest of bumps in the road like it was doing before!!!

Not sure about wear sleeve idea.
I have a fourth generation Dodge Grand Caravan. Every few years the front sway bar bushings get a little sloppy and the thing starts knocking around and making an irritating noise. So I've done this replacement a few times. I thought these bushings with the wear sleeve might last a little longer, only time will tell on that. I get the impression Moog did not change the rubber bushing, only added the nylon sleeve. As a result these are a real bear to install, basically the bushing is too big for the retaining bracket now that the sleeve pushes it out further. With great effort you can get the bolt started and squeeze the bushing into place by tightening it. So far it is making a new noise, so I kind of feel like I might have wasted my time. Something to make them last longer is an attractive idea, but I'm not convinced this is going to work.
