Buy quality steering parts
I replaced the idler arm on my 2003 F150 with one from an auction site four months ago. It was a cheap part that I thought would go a couple of years. Checking it yesterday for state inspection it had significant play in it at the frame end, more so than allowable for in section in VA. This was less than 3000 miles since installed. I greased it well with good grease at installation, the no name part was simply bad. I put on a Moog idler arm today. The part looked much better out the of box with better looking, bigger ends. I think the Moog part will go the distance. Will not try to save money on steering parts again.
