Not as bad as people make it seem
Got to be very frustrating trying to press that lower control arm Foward bushing in with homemade tools and then renting a service kit that failed me....Little secret, find someone with a hydraulic wood splitter, line then up together and let her rip, as long as there's straight with each other, that huge compliance bushing is no match to a wood splitter

This bushing worked great, the large tool set I borrowed wouldn't work on this 3" bushing but it was easy enough to press out and replace without removing from the car. Took about an hour.

The duralast upper control arm is a very affordable and durable option to go with, having bushings preinstalled with the upper ball joint is so very convenient....if you need to have ball joints or bushings replaced and never done them before, save yourself the time,sweet,blood and tears and just grab the whole assembly together
