I replaced a $4,000 air suspension system with [...]Moog coil springs. The car rides very comfortably, and my billfold is still in my pocket. Also no 2nd mortgage was required!! Thanks Advance Auto Parts Wayne Woodall

Good Alternative to Air Springs
These Springs are a good economical and quality replacement for the OEM Air Springs on Lincoln Mercury vehicles. I was skepticle about the ride quality but decided to go with the CC-865 MOOGs and a set of Gabriel OEM replacement shocks for [$] rather than spending $360 on a compressor and Air Springs from Arnott or Suncore plus $300 labor to install them. This is an economical and comfortable solution to spending three times as much on maintaining the OEM Air Suspension. Worth the $260 in parts and labor and a permanent fix. Would reccommend to anyone who likes Lincoln quality without the Lincoln price.

The spring conversion kit was greatest thing I ever did . The air ride was going to cost me well over 2000.00 and the springs cost me 99.00 and I get a better ride than I had before . I put the springs in myself in about 45 minutes total and Im not a mechanic. If you can install a set of break pads you can do this with ease. [...]

Not a bad alternative for the price

Installed these in a Lincoln town car when the air bags went out. Not a terrible ride by any means, but I do miss the air springs a bit. But if you're on a budget they work great and they're cheap, I'd reccomend spring compressors for the install if you don't have a lift and don't want to remove anything besides the tires and shocks, the spring compressors make them a breeze to install.
