The ball joint was exactly what my 2003 Honda Civic needed. I see so many poor reviews about this ball joint and I don't understand why, if you read the information that comes with the ball joint it clearly states do not use the zerk fitting if space does not allow, which is why is supplies a metal cap for the grease fitting opening. For my vehicle I had to remove the whole steering knuckle and press it in with a ball joint press I already owned. You need to take care in doing this however or you could damage the ball joint or the knuckle. Also make sure that when you press in the ball joint you make sure the "inboard" portion of the ball joint is in the correct spot.

No Room for grease fitting
I'm pretty used to moog products being some of the best stuff out there, but the reality of this product is that the grease fitting makes it almost impossible to put the vehicle back together after install the ball joint, and pretty much impossible to ever actually grease. I'd just assume have no grease fitting at all and be able to install the thing.

These do not fit 2005-2006 acura rsx type s or base.
The taper for 05-06 rsx are bigger than the balljoint. retaining clip would be the only supporting the whole weight of the car

Great replacement for work out stock ball joints the only reason I did t give it 5 stars is because the supplied grease fitting doesn't clear the tone ring for the wheel speed sensor but will work if you buy another fitting the one supplied is too tall if in stalled then put the axle in so you need one shorter in height I found them at advance as well they are m6x1 if you don't do this the ball joint will be junk in 6 months they only put a small amount of grease in them at the factory so keep that in mind but you can put the grease fitting in and fill it with grease and put the plug in and run it like a sealed one
