Most Liked Positive Review
I would highly recomend this Item.
These were bought to replace ball joints on a 97 Lincoln Continental front wheel knuckle. Found that they also replace the rear wheel spindle ball joints. Both front and rear ball joints are the same and are easy to press out and just as easy to press back in. Don't let anyone tell you the front or rear ball joints can't be replaced. They just want to sell you a new front wheel knuckle and or rear wheel spindle with the new ball joints in them. Either one is very expensive and a big waste of your hard earned money.

Clip retainer needs improvment
First the parts I received were black not blue like the picture. Wonder if they carry the blue or if its a generic picture, or they are putting a lower cost part in the box. The retainer that holds the ball joint boot onto the ball joint housing is flimsy. I paid extra for a premium part but seemed like value grade. The retainer popped off when I lowered the car. Had to press in another ball joint. Advance was good about the return so I give them a thumbs up

Some helpful advice for installing ball joints.

You can't go wrong with a MOOG anything. I recommend that you actually disassemble the ball joint, prior to installation so that the boot is in your hand, when you go to press the ball joint into the knuckle of any vehicle. I have 2002 Ford Taurus and a 1998 Mercury Sable and both require squeezing the ball joint into a knuckle hole that really won't accept the boot -intact. It'll always split on you, regardless of who makes the ball joint. Put a little anti-seize around the ball joint sides, and squeeze it into place with the ball joint press; you can borrow at most any Advance Auto. Doing so, with the boot off, will save you from having to replace the ball joint in 5-6 years instead of 2. Lubing the center rod of the joint as well, before installation back into the control arm, will save you having to replace an entire control arm, should the pin rust to the hole in the control arm. You may already have experienced this problem, and had to pay for either a new control arm, or someone to use Oxy/Acetylene to get the darn thing out. Lube the shaft of the strut body at the bottom where the knuckle fits, so you can easily push the whole knuckle up far enough to get it all back together.
