May be a bit difficult to install as a regular ball joint installation kit wasn't any help on the Volvo suspension.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
I would NOT, repeat NOT buy this product again.
Verified Buyer -
Spent the extra money for a Moog Ball joint. One of the bolts provided broke off in the spindle, which means there was NO way to get another bolt in that side. In addition, the specks on the ball joint were about a mm off. When space is tight, that is a PROBLEM! Used the old bolt for the other side of the wing, in addition to the bolt on the bottom. Can't drive it long with only one side of the wing bolted on. Going to cost a fortune to take the spindle out and replace it or drill out the threaded end of the bolt. Haven't spoken to Advance or Moog yet. Will do that next week. In the meantime, not sure it's worth the risk to by a replacement part that isn't made by the manufacturer.
Does not last on Volvo 2001 S80
My Volvo had a Moog ball joint installed prior to me buying the car for my son. Had receipt in folder for service. When it started going out again a year after I got the car I too used Moog, but also replaced the control arms with Moog and installed New front struts springs and mounts. Had alignment done afterwards. Now in just a year and a half the ball joint is going out again.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
