True to it's name"Problem Solver"
The part being reviewed here is the Moog "Problem Solver" and it is just that for my truck a Dodge Big Horn.
Dodges are notorious for deficient ball joints that they refuse to correct for some reason.
One big problem with the OEM part is that that it is not lubable and wears way too quickly.
Mine went at less that 68,000 miles.
The problem that this part corrects is that it IS lubeable. This is good for two reasons both due to the lube port.
1. The obvious it allows you to lube the balljoint where as the OEM does not.
2. This same port also allows any contaniments that get into the boot to get out lessening wear on the ball joint.
Not to mention there is a life time warrenty on this product though you shoud never need to use it.

Purchased two of these for my 1500 truck. My truck eats ball joints. This is the third time in the trucks 10 years on the road I have had to replace the ball joints. Advance has the heavy duty ball joint tool for loan as well. So it was a one stop deal. I use antisieze on the ball joint so when I have to take them out in about four years they won't be stuck in the control arm. These (unlike the ones I replaced) have a Lifetime Warranty. So the only thing that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is if Advance takes them back without hassle when my truck eats these up. If so then it is totally worth it.
