MOOG Suspension Ball Joint

Giving an optimistic 3 stars due to the fact that I've purchased 4 ball joints in 2 years. Moog was my go to brand but I wonder if they are making all their parts to the same standards as they used to. We'll see. After all, these guys are supposed to be the official NASCAR brand. The first ball joints had no grease fittings and looked much like OE. Both failed in less than 2 years. One by one, my replacements had grease fittings(like ALL the pictures shown had reflected for ALL 4 including instructions!). Time will tell as the new ones haven't been in long. The best part of experience was Advance's service at the Delaware Ave shop in Albany. They honored lifetime warranty and all was hassle free. Diana and John D are awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. The worst part was having to do the jobs twice and not being reimbursed for my time and labor, of course. Moog had better step it up if they want my biz in the future! -Paul

The part was in great shape out of the box. It was just a breeze to put it in. Simple two bolt and one nut design surely made life easy for us do it yourselfers out here grinding and doing things in the driveway. I would recommend a new cotter key when you actually go through with the installation or your brand new Moog ball joint. It really is just a wonderful day in the neighborhood when you expect a hard job and you get down there and everything just breaks loose then a couple whacks on the lower control arm and bada-bing bada-boom.
