Comments about Monroe Specialty Shock Absorber:

Product is fine if you don't want to pay for Ford parts. It's a one for one replacement except for the bushings and nuts. They were standard but to me sub std.
You will need a second jack to lift the upper/lower control arms to wiggle the shock into place, not a big deal, you could block it.

For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

Yes, Get your electronic or air suspension back to fresh-from-factory condition or convert them to non-electric conventional units with Monroe Specialty Shocks or Struts. They are available as direct bolt-in units covering a wide range of applications and it does not include the Compressed Bumper Stop, Extended Bumper Stop, Extended Hydraulic Lockout and Compressed Hydraulic Lockout.
