horribly noisy strut assembly -in cold temperature response
I bought these as replacement strut assembly in the summer. They worked well. I live in cold area. After the outside temperature dropped below 35 degrees consistently, these rattle, squeak, grind and make knocking noises. When it warms above 45 - no noise. The struts I replaced were worn out,but did not make noise. Find a better strut assembly.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Unsealed box
Good strut but strut mount and bolt that go on top of strut were not in box and box was tore open. Possibly returned and who ever got it stole the bolt and the mount and put a different bolt in box. The strut for the drivers side was perfect had mount and bolt and box was not tore open and re taped back to gather. I don't know why this was aloud to be returned with box being tore open and resold. If you buy this product make sure box is sealed it has metal staples sealing the box and if it is tore open you will know. It should come with mount and a bolt for top of strut. I had to use Old bolt and mount.
