The ride is so much better.. I could try to sell you on this way.. But I'm not an employee of Advanced AP nor Monroe just a Water treatment operator..(water boy)/ with 30 years experience as an (old) Auto Tec .. I liked it so much I did my other car the with These Monroe "Ready Struts". they put the car back to the original manufacture ride height specifications... .. Saving me money you ask how .. at first they seemed a bit high priced, but when I added up all the parts I would've changed compression bumpers bearing plates, the time I saved I did something I wanted to ... GO JR!!!
for right now the ride is night & day different for the better

I got 2 Monroe Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly Feb 2020, today APR 2021 the shop just told me they are bad, They were making clunking noises when I hit a bump, or while driving on the road. I took my car to the shop because I just couldn't believe such new struts will go bad that quickly. I commute with my 2012 Malibu back and forth to work, about 20 miles freeway and 2 miles city, 5 days a week. no potholes incidents, just plain bad merch, Advance auto told me to bring them in for replacemt but thats not even fixing my issues, since about a year from now they will repeat the same issue. Beside adding the hustle of removal and installation. Well done wil definitely advise friends and family before buying MONROE quick struts.

the online information stated item was perfect fit to auto. gave dimensions except the one that counter. the spacing for the top mount bolts are different between style of monroe struts. web page did not note that. had to return struts and get a different style by monroe. orginial order top bolts were 4-1/2" apart;
had to exchange strut to roadmaster style - top bolts 5" apart. once that was corrected, everything went easy. just added two & a half hours to the task while I had to find a store that had replacement stock. product description needs to add detail so car owner can check dimensions and order right part.
Low quality strut assembly

I bought these in 2016 for my 07 g6 gtp and they were trash in less than 2 years. The only reason I re-bought them is because I was given a significant discount. In hind sight they should have been covered by the warranty but advanced auto deletes their records every couple of years. Lesson learned. Keep your receipts.
Pre Assembled Backwards

The part was previously assembled, reason being it is a quick strut but the mount at the top was placed on wrong, therefore causing to have to remove the bolts and turn the disk 90 degrees prior to replacing it on the car. This was one of the few disappointments that I encountered with both the right and left.
