Awesome value
Terrific value!! GM originals would have cost over $700.00 installed!! I own some basic pneumatic tools and a couple of floor jacks and in less than 2 hours the job was done!! Having these pre-loaded saved me all associated anxiety of compressing, removing, and reinstalling suspension springs as well as finding the appropriate compressing tools. Directions were almost complete. It would have been nice to include torque requirements for all hardware items. Overall a very satisfying project!!

Different jounce bumpers
These where very easy to install however I was disappointed after I opened the boxes and saw that the Left & right struts had different jounce bumpers and dust boots. According to the manufacture date stickers, the newer one (July 2013) had the much more robust one-piece jounce bumper and boot. The older one (May 2013) had a flimsy, cheap, 3pc setup that looked like the boot will slip off and stop functioning after the first 10 miles. Not sure if the mismatch was a mistake by Monroe manufacturing, or if they changed designs in that two month span. The OE struts had matching bumpers and boots. I ended up installing both because I needed to use the car, but not very happy about it. Seems to work fine so far. Long story short: buy them, but open the boxes before you leave the store to make sure you know what you're getting.
