Quick is the Key Word
Over the past 3 years I've had both the passenger and driver's side coil springs break on the rear of my 2000 Alero. My brother (a mechanic) turned me on to these as a replacement option. I could've simply replaced the spring for a fraction of the cost but that's not always the funniest task. Since I knew the struts where probably overdue anyways, the quick struts were a no brainer.
These things come already assembled. Just remove the old assembly and install the new. Takes longer to jack the car up and remove the wheel than it did to put on the new strut/spring assembly.

Monroe quick struts.
Stay clear. I bought theses struts cause I assumed Monroe was a name you could not go wrong with. Advanced though said they will be giving me a full refund. Going with stock Acdelco. Monroe quick struts have had issues like I found out the hard way. Squeaks, rattle, grind and creaks.
