Good choice for a strut replacement
I watched several videos on replacing the front struts in my 2004 Honda Odyssey. Perhaps the most important point in these videos was that compressing the springs was very risky without a professional spring compressor. I had used a screw-type compressor for a sports car in the past, but the springs in the Odyssey were much stronger. So, I chose the Monroe Quick-Struts, and I was very happy with the choice. First, the replacement process for both sides only took about four hours. I did use an impact wrench which made removal of the large bolts very quick. I also used the impact wrench on the sway bar link, and that made that disassembly very easy as well. I supported the steering knuckle with my floor jack, and used that to help coax the new the new strut assemblies into place. After putting everything back together, I did get a wheel alignment. I am very pleased with the finished product: The car tracks straight, handles much better, and generally rides better. I highly recommend the Monroe Quick-Struts.

Monroe Quick Strut

Buying the quick strut made installation easy and minimized danger of working with strut springs. For pre-installation I watched a Youtube video (lots of good videos on youtube for this). I thought it would take about 3 hours to install on 02 Honda Odyssey, but only took me 1 hour. So easy,I decided to do the other side as well.

There are 2 sides to every strut job...

This quick strut assy worked great on the driver's side. Alas, the passenger side is a different part number. Ordering 2 of these will only result in half the job being complete and costing money to return if you order online. I'd like to see the description show more clearly this is DRIVER SIDE ONLY.
As far as install, with an impact ratchet, some sockets, and a helpful 12 year old, it took about 40 minutes per side to drop these guys in. It's been years since I did struts and forgot the secret trick of hooking the top in first then bolting everything together, but once I remembered that, install was a breeze.
The ride is much improved. Not quite floating, but what can you expect from mini-van suspension?

Built to last quick-struts
I've had these struts for about six years in my vehicle and it is bottom line built to last. No rust, no leaks, just normal wear and tear. I would recommend this 100x to anyone! Monroe builds quality stuff no lie.
This is on a Honda Odyssey 2003. I bought them since October 2017 and still going strong.

Looks ok, hope it lasts

No special markings which part is front/ back, etc. Had to figure it out.
