weak metal components
The strut was fairly easy to install, the problem was tightening the top 3 mounting studs. while torguing them to the recommended pressure one snapped and another stretched to near breaking. Looking at them I saw that they were cheap white metal, not strong enough for the situation. I had to take out the old OEM strut studs and use them in the new struts. Upgrade your parts to the necessary strength!

The installation was easy, no need to mess with spring just few bolts and you are done.
This is no where close to OEM, very rough ride and not good with small bumps and potholes.
I replaced it with same prodcut after 4 months because I thought it was gone bad but I see no difference.
Please spend extra few dollars and get OEM, its worth all your money.

This is a passenger side pre-assembled strut. I bought this to fit my 1999 Honda Odyssey. In my case, the coil had actually snapped, and I wasn't looking forward to replacing it.
This is an all in one kit. No compressing the coil to swap out individual parts. You just pull the original and install the replacement. The whole job only took about 45 minutes.
The only catch I had was the strut mounting plate was misaligned. I kept trying to guide it into place, but the bolts weren't lining up...and it's heavy so you really want it to line up quick. I finally had to pull it back down and compare it to the original and realized, I simply needed to rotate the mounting plate about a 1/4 turn.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. It fits nice, and it didn't take all day to do the job.
