ORDERED AND PAID FOR PRODUCT ON-LINE AND PICKED UP AT LOCAL STORE THAT WAS SHOWING ITEM AS BEING IN STOCK. WASN'T IN STORE FOR FIVE MINUTES AND WALKED OUT WITH MY STRUT. INSTALLATION COULDN'T BE EASIER.REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF FIVE BOLTS AND I WAS BACK ON ROAD WITHIN ONE HOUR USING ONLY A SMALL FRAME JACK. WHY BOTHER REPLACING INDIVIDUAL DEFECTIVE PARTS AND HASSLING WITH A SPRING COMPRESSOR WHEN YOU CAN SO EASILY AND ECONOMICALLY REPLACE THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY WITH A COMPLETE NEW UNIT?

This was a great idea to pre-assemble struts. After lifting the car and removing the front wheels, there were only three nuts, three screws and two bolts to remove. I had the job to replace both front struts on a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser complete in about 1.5 hrs.
