Great!

Easy, straightforward installation. Much easier to install than a separate strut and coil! I installed on a Honda Civic, ride is wonderful.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
I would buy it again.

The ride is alot smoother!
Simple and intuitive installation
I bought this for a 2001 Civic that had 150k miles. The front struts were not even functional. Every bump in the road felt like it would tear the front wheel off and shake your teeth out at the same time. Local shops wanted 2-3 times the price of this unit to replace. I have done my own brake work for years but never thought I would attempt to replace a strut on my own in my driveway. After discovering that an ASSEMBLED strut was available, I watched a couple of installation videos online and decided to try it.
Installation took me 90 minutes. 30 minutes of that was driving back to my local Advance store to borrow a tool to get the tie rod loose from the strut arm. Removal and installation was a breeze, just 8 fasteners total. make sure you have metric sockets and wrenches! It also helps if you have a friend lend a hand when sliding the old one out and the new one in.
I had no issues installing the new one. Holes lined up perfectly, steering was still in alignment. Only tools needed were metric sockets, wrenches and the borrowed tie rod tool.
Thanks Advance for saving me some money on this one!

Monroe Quick Strut Very quick and easy

The quick strut made the job go quickly. It took me less than half the time it has taken to replace struts where I reused the existing assembly parts. I was teaching someone how to replace struts so if I had not been doing that it probably would have taken me less than 1/3 the time. The mounting bolts and holes all lined up perfectly.
