Good overall, noise on turning wheel

The assembly was easy to install. I was happy not to have to disassemble my old strut and just to have new parts top to bottom in my 2009 Honda CRV. Overall I've seen improvement in how the car handles. I'd give it four stars but the new struts sometimes make a loud creaking noise when I turn the wheel. YouTubers say to spray the contact points between the springs and the mounts with lubricant, but something tells me they shouldn't be making noise at all.

I don't know anything about shocks, really. My husband suggested these. I ordered them. He put them on. I have a 2007 Honda CRV and the ride seems to be ok. Smoother than my old ones. Sorry I couldn't be of more help than that.
