These were a replacement installation for my 1990 Chevrolet Camaro RS 5.0 V8. I installed them in conjunction with a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs. The results were very good. I did not expect to be impressed by this strut, since it is not necessarily a "performance" replacement part, but I have been pleased by the overall outcome. I am not a hard-core driver; I like cruising the mountain two-lane roads here in North Carolina at an admittedly brisk pace, and these struts have been up to the challenge.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
