Ideal for light trucks that that tow or carry varying loads, Monroe load adjusting shocks include a heavy gauge calibrated spring that adjusts to road and weight conditions to provide extra control when operating conditions get more demanding.

Great Product
This set of shocks is great. They perform just as advertised. They truly leveled my vehicle when towing my 26 foot sailboat. I recommend these shocks.

Used these load adjusting shocks on a 2010 Sierra and a 1999 Tahoe, they raised the ride hight and tightened the suspension perfectly and they work amazing under load. Highly recommend these vs the Gabriel shocks. Gabriels shocks are made lower quality and lasted me 2 months before blowing out
Easy Install; Smooth ride
Very pleased. Beefy. Replaced on 2013 Silverado w only 60k miles!... but was getting a shimmy when going from 0 to 25mph. All good!

I bought these for my 2011 Sierra for towing a 5th wheel. They help maintain ride height when towing. Unloaded its about 1" higher ride height, not bad looking. The ride is smooth both loaded and unloaded. I used to have the air shocks but had trouble maintaining the pressure due to leaks. These I don't have to worry whether loaded or not.
