Ideal for light trucks that that tow or carry varying loads, Monroe load adjusting shocks include a heavy gauge calibrated spring that adjusts to road and weight conditions to provide extra control when operating conditions get more demanding.

A little stiff but...
I bought these mainly to firm up the mushy suspension, but they are good for keeping rear level when towing. At first I thought " oh no, these are much to stiff" but they softened up a bit after breakin. They provide better stabilty and cornering then stock shocks, and work even better under load.In addition, they raised the rear about an inch. NICE. Now I am looking for height adjustable struts so I can level the vehicle. Bigger tires will then fit.

Must have if you tow with your Jeep.
This shock system was easy to install with the use of a jack. The hardest part of the entire install was just getting the bolts out from the factory torque.
I purchased these shocks to shore up the extra pressure on the rear of the vehicle when towing a trailer. If you pull any type of loads with your Jeep I would for sure purchase these. They may however be a bit too stiff for the casual driver that does not tow anything.
