Comments about Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:

I needed a little extra capacity in my 1/2 ton pickup. These did the trick. I can now carry about 1000lbs (up from 700lbs) in the bed without bottoming out. Extra springs or airbags are nice, but these shocks were only [$] for the pair and a lot easier to install.

I suggest you to contact the rebate customer service at 1-888-378-9766 or through email at advanceautoparts@help.4myrebate.com and they would be in a better position to assist you further.

Can you use these on a 2003 ford f150 xlt etended cab fx4 with a 4" inch lift?

                    A:

Hi Sanflipper! Unfortunately, this Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber - Part No. 58629 will not work with a 4"-inch lift installed on the vehicle. With this amount of lift you run the risk of continually topping the shock out which can lead to internal damage. The exact fit shock absorber for your 2003 Ford F150 with 4"-inch is unavailable online. However, I'd recommend checking with your local store for availability.

Hi Sanflipper! Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, and model of the vehicle.
