Ideal for light trucks that that tow or carry varying loads, Monroe load adjusting shocks include a heavy gauge calibrated spring that adjusts to road and weight conditions to provide extra control when operating conditions get more demanding.

- EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING - Tuned specifically for each application, full-displaced valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide ride consistency
- CONSISTENT RIDE - OE all-weather fluid contains special modifiers to handle extreme temperatures and PTFE-banded piston helps reduce friction between the piston and pressure tube to enhance responsiveness to changing road surfaces
- LONGER SERVICE LIFE - Self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces excessive friction against the piston rod to help reduce premature wear while heavy-duty nitrocarburized rod delivers long life

Bought these to remove the "sag" that is common with the Express vans. Took less than an hour to remove the old factory shocks and put these bad boys on. Rasied the bumper a full 2 inches as soon as the the jacks were let down. The ride is 10 times better, the "sag" is gone completely that was there even with just a standard load. I couldn't be more pleased and saved over $300 from what the mechanic shop wanted to install these shocks. They do come 2 to a pack so when ordering just select one.

A Little Extra Support
I wanted something cheaper than air ride suspension to tow a toy hauler. These over load shocks are the bomb.I changed them out in my driveway,however, would have been easier with second person. Be sure to block the front wheels and use jack stands to help support the job.Just follow the instruction sheet supplied. Job took me 2.5 hours.DONE

Bought these to use on my '99 Suburban which is used to tow a 27' travel trailer. Helped with both stability and ride height. They were easy to install. The spring has a way to dismount it at the top to push it aside for easier access to the bolts, very nice! Word of warning: They are packaged as "Quantity:1" but there are 2 in a package. Because of this I ordered 2 sets. Advanced Auto was very good with the return. Sent me a 'postage paid' return label immediately and I got it back out the same day.

We bought these shocks from Advanced much cheaper than getting them though our mechanic. We then had our mechanic install them on our 1999 Chevy Tahoe so we could haul the camper we recently purchased. On there own, they made hauling the camper quite a bit easier, but with the addition of a sway bar kit, towing is a piece of cake. Not just to get some extendable rear view mirrors.
