Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

Great product for the price. These are a temporary replacement until I get the money to put on better performance shocks. Installation easy if you don't have rusted bolts. Took 30 minutes to install rear shocks with PB Blaster. Took 2-3 hrs for each front shock. Bolts completely rusted. Had to cut them off.

I returned them

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

These shocks arrived before I removed the OEM, Once I had them side by side, the OEM seemed to be a more robust shock and much more heavier duty. The rear shocks would not even open on their own like I would expect the gas charged shock to. The front shocks had large straps on them to hold them in the collapsed position. After comparing, I returned them and bought Rancho 5000.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

Great fit and an alright ride for such a inexpensive shock, but should come with, at least, new bolts for the upper mounts.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

OEM Shocks were shot. This is just a temporary replacement before I lift the Jeep. Had them over 6 weeks. They are performing just fine. Even took them to the beach and gave them a pounding. No leaks.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

when I go over a speed hump the back bottoms out. This seems like it is probably for a small truck, not a wrangler
