Ready to go right out of the box. I took about an hour each to install. Very happy not to have to deal with compressing the springs and deal with a rusted nut on top of the strut. A local mechanic wanted almost $600 to do the job.

Was an exactly fit and an easy install. Only issue I have is that it seems a little less durable than the OEM part.

Solid Item
One thing to remember with installing any strut or Shock is do not fully tighten them down until the suspension is under a load. You can do this by putting a jack stand under the suspension once the car/truck is raised. Then slowly lower the vehicle allowing the jack stand to support the weight of the vehicle while compressing the shock/strut. Once a load is on suspension you can fully tighten them down. If you tighten the shock/strut while it is fully extended (not under a load) you might notice a thumping sound while driving.
