Replaced Broken OEM Coil Springs

Bought these to replace broken rear coil springs on my 2002 Explorer XLT. Buying a complete strut/spring pre-assembled unit was only SLIGHTLY more expensive than buying the springs alone. Avoided any need for spring compressor (dangerous!) and replaced worn struts at the same time. No problem installing with hand tools only - you'll need a mix of metric and SAE sizes, and GET A WRATCHETING 13mm box wrench for those top 3 nuts on the strut -- you'll be SO happy you have it! Helps to have a friend to help pry down the lower arm to free the old strut. All in all not a bad job and these Monroe units seem solid.

had to research the pictures online to make sure it was the whole assembly.cant go wrong for the price and seem like good quality parts would recomend if only needed to replace the springs make process easier takes about 3 hours with basic hand tools and would recomend dropping whole bottom a arm makes taking out and putting in assembly so much easier.

Did some cross reference and found this fits my 2002 Ford Explorer even though advance didnt list it when I searched. It was way cheaper than parts the website recomended. Did take about 3 hours to install, not as easy as many instructions claimed but very doable.
