Fantastic oil for light duty trucks
My 2000 Dodge 2500 tower a 40.5 foot fifth wheel so I wanted the best motor oil I could find for my truck. I now have over 220000 miles on it and purrs like a kitten. I change it every 7000 miles along with either the Mobile oil filter or the K&N filter. If your looking for a full sythitic oil for your light duty truck this is it. Thanx Mobil1. I'll see you at 500,000 miles I'm sure of it.

Different products in same jug
Today (3/7/20) I purchased 2 gallons of 5W-40 Mobil 1 TDT. During my oil change I noticed whil pouring the second gallon, the oil color was different from the first gallon. It appears to be 2 diferent products in the same labeling, nothing denoted "new formula" or any other changes, just a slightly different label design on the back.

Fantastic oil for light duty trucks
My 2000 Dodge 2500 tower a 40.5 foot fifth wheel so I wanted the best motor oil I could find for my truck. I now have over 220000 miles on it and purrs like a kitten. Long relationship with Mobil 1
I've used Mobil 1 on my Mazda protege at 65,000 miles to 450,000. Ford Explorer sport trac lasted 350,000 then sold.
2008 Mazda 3 from 10,000 to 100,000. My son's Mazda speed 3 up to 100,000 miles so far. My brother's Mazda 636 lasted 430,000 miles.
I've raced 1000cc and 600cc motorcycles for the last 5 years with Mobil 1 oil and let me tell you I'm a big fan, I've had to look into a rebuilt engine for a race and all parts were excellent condition, every vehicle I own I use Mobil 1, it's definitely worth my investment.

2002 Dakota 4.7 v/8 130K uses no oil
I switched to Mobil 10-30 oil in my 2002 Dakota 4.7 v/8 at 70K miles. It used about 2/3 of a quart
of oil in 5K miles. I then switched to 10/30 High milage Mobil oil. I now have 135K on that engine.
Uses virtually no oil in 5K. Because I am a little over protective, Yes I do change the oil every 5K and
also install a new Mobil 1 oil filter. After much study and deliberation I use only Mobil 1 Products.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Best oil on the market
I have a 2005 Silverado 2500 with LLY duramax diesel. I have used mobile 1 turbo diesel since new. I now have 351000 miles without ANY problems, truck still runs like new, I have original injectors and turbo, I change oil using vehicle oil monitor, usally at 10000 miles between changes . I also use mobile 1 synthetic trans fluid and mobile 1 75w 90 synthetic gear oil. Never had a rebuild on trans or differential. I wouldn't use anything else.

2007 Tacoma over 500,000 miles
I drive A LOT. I have used this product in my 2007 Tacoma and I now have 512,000 miles on my truck. I switched to the high mileage version of Moble 1 at about 100,000 miles and I change my oil every 7,000 miles. I recommend it to everyone.
