I will buy this product or another mobil 1 filter again.
This is a high quality filter. I use mobil 1 oil filters in all my vehicles and my Kubota tractor and Dixie Chopper lawn mower too. The last two applications are easy to do if your motor has a spin-on filter. Just take your old filter to Advance Auto, start opening filter boxes and match the diameter of the filter can and the thread size. Compare the length also. If the new filter is a little longer and you have enough clearance to install it, you just increased your oil capacity and cooliling capacity. The new mobil 1 filter will not only perform better, it is also most likely cheaper than the OEM also. Kubota really loves thier filters, and the price reflects it!

Make sure you inspect before you leave the store
Got home realized box was ripped open and filter had no plastic seal. Not sure if someone tried to install or not however I don't believe this is worth the risk as the motor is not a cheap one and has a number of upgraded parts in it. So I threw this filter in the trash. I wasn't even going to try to go back to the store and deal with the young lady again since I had already gone back in once to deal with the fact that she couldn't locate filter I bought online and gave me "upgraded filter" instead it was a cheap regular filter so this was my first trip back only to get this. This location is so convenient to my house and for years I have enjoyed this benefit but they have fast turn over so I'm thinking this make be a one to skip for a bit..

Manufacturing switched to south Korea
See the filters in my picture? Same part number. Even made sure the part number printed on the paper filter matched the box. I used to pay more for this file because it was more robust, lasted longer, and would never crush under pressure. Now that this is made in south Korea with such lower quality, you might as well buy the carquest filter for half the price!

Picture not accurate!
The filter I got has no caps at all just some glue at the ends but is has the write number on the ends.It looks like Mobile 1 has new style and looks like very cheap filter.Picture shows metal caps on both ends. The box of the filter shows plastic caps.The filter I replaced had plastic caps too.

Bought the Mobile-1 Extended performance oil filter for my 2015 Challenger 5.7 Hemi R/T and shame on me for not doing research on this filter.... Driving around after a few hundred miles and was noticing a nasty burning oil smell....Jacked up the can and the filter a slight leak. Checked to see if the filter was tight, it was, just to be sure cranked down on it a little more.... Still leaking. Looked online about problems with this particular oil filter and the general consensus is that they are total junk and are prone to leaking.
Switched out to a WIX oil filter and have had zero issues!
Do yourself a favor...buy a WIX brand filter or Purolator. AVOID THE MOBILE-1 EXTENDED OIL FILTER!!!!!
