Mayhew 6-Pc Punch Set

Center punches are used for piercing or marking for staring drills in metal and other materials. Prick punches are used for scribing lines into metal before cutting or riveting. Solid punches are used for loosening frozen or tight pins and keys or knocking out rivets. Pin punches are used for driving out and removing already loosened pins and keys after initial movement by a solid punch. This set is made with the new S2 steel that has a higher tensile strength than Carbon Alloy Steels.  This full finish set of 8 includes the following sizes: 5/16" center punch, 3/8" prick punch, 3/8" (1/8" pt.) and 3/8" (3/16" pt.) solid punches, 3/8" (3/16" pt.) and 3/8" (1/4" pt.) pin punches.  All packed in a handy carrying case.
