CHEAP TRANSMISSION REPAIR
WHEN MY 1990 FORD F-350 CREW-CAB'S TRANSMISSION BEGAN WHINING, I KNEW A BEARING WAS GOING BAD AND IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. THE CLERK SUGGESTED LUCAS TRANSMISSION. I ADDED ABOUT A PINT AND THE NOISE STOPPED. THAT WAS ABOUT 100,000 MILES AGO AND THE TRANSMISSION IS QUIETER THAN EVER. THIS STUFF WORKS. I USED ABOUT 1/4 THE RECOMMENDED RATE... JUST ENOUGH TO CONDITION THE TRANS FLUID. READ THE DIREDCTIONS CAREFULLY AND DO NOT USE THIS ON LATE MODEL AUTOS THAT HAVE SPECIALTY FLUIDS LIKE GM TRANSFER CASES THAT REQUIRE ONLY A GM PRODUCT UNLESS YOU ARE USING THIS AS A LAST RESORT.

Nope it defenetely did not work for me,,my trani still shifts hard.and when I first added it my trani would not take overdrive and had problems for 3 days.

Can i use it on dodge journey sxt? 6 cylinder.. it only happens when i first start the car and goes to 2nd shift.. it hesitates once in a blue not every time I start the car.

Hi MICHAEL, happy to help you! This Lucas Oil Products Transmission Fix (Part # 10009) would work fine on your Dodge Journey SXT unless it has a CVT transmission. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.
