Good/ can speed up rear brake change
Staff Reviewer -
It almost takes 3 hands to change the single spring brakes. Tool solves that problem. It holds the spring up so the shoe can be slid in and out. It works pretty good but, the tool gets in the way of changing the emergency brake lever on the rear shoe. You have to work it around some to get it off. After using it on one brake job, I could do the next job faster using the tool. TIP:Open side of hook must face toward shoe or it will pop off when tightened. Really hard to get it back on if it pops off. If hook was longer it would solve that problem.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
