This is a great product. I have the two other kinds of oil filter wrenches, the ring kind and the plier kind, but I was changing out an oil filter where neither of these had room to do their job. The filter had definitely been over tightened by whomever had changed it previously. I also had no lift or any other way to get my vehicle significantly and safely off the ground enough to get strong with it by hand alone. In addition the oil filter in question had no built in grip and instead was all smooth. This wrench let me go at the filter with the vehicle just barely off the ground, only one corner at that, by going straight in at the filter from the exposed end.

Tool broke right out of the package and the return spring is too weak for the tool
