This unit fit my 1970 Camaro SS 396 manual steering box perfectly. I had to spread the opening a little to get it on but the splines were in great shape after 48 years so I guess I was lucky it fit tightly instead of falling on. I also had to remove the gearbox from the frame, both to get the old rag joint off and the new one on, this also was not an issue as the three bolts holding it on were a little rusty but the threads were perfect.

Wrong Listing
Coupler does not fit 88 c1500. Workers are to incompetent to find a suitable replacement. If its not in the computer they instantly loose common sense.

This product did fit my car after grinding off burrs

Machining was not the best, the split coupling was not completely split as a result of sub par fabrication. Once I removed the small amount of materials keeping the coupling from opening up it went on fine.
